Jordan Government’s Temporary Reduction in Social Security Rates
The Jordanian government has decided to temporarily reduce the rates of social security.

For the period of March 1, 2020 to May 31, 2020, the government of Jordan has reduced the social security contribution rates for employees to 1% and employers to 4.25% from 7.5% and 14.25%, respectively.

Sample social security calculations with standard and temporary rates have been provided below:
